A member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing for more than 25 years, Sara Uzzell has spent her career in marketing and business development. For 16 years, Sara worked in IT and consultancy for major international businesses and public sector organisations.
Since 2003 Sara has owned and run two hotels in Bournemouth and successfully developed a business offering special interest holidays for groups. Currently employing a team of 40, Sara knows first-hand the excitement and achievement of running a small business as well as the challenges and frustrations. Sara has embraced the digital revolution in her own business and she is working with a small digital creative agency on a proposition to help SMEs with segmentation, sales lead generation and database marketing.
Sara is Chair of Bournemouth’s Tourism Marketing Group, a member of the Coastal Business Improvement District board and a committee member of Bournemouth Accommodation and Hotels Association.
