Project Summary:

Dorset LEP allocated £763,473 of the Local Growth Fund to Bournemouth & Poole College (BPC) to further increase construction and engineering teaching capabilities.

The Construction & Engineering Project is part of a skills hub at Bournemouth & Poole College’s main North Road campus.

The project has collated all construction wet trades onto the campus while upgrading engineering equipment in order to extend the level of training able to be offered.

The project has also enabled new courses and standards to take place with the procurement of specialist equipment and software in strategic sectors such as Marine, Electric Vehicle, Construction, and Aviation.
