Bournemouth’s Visual Effects, Animation and Games Festival

Returning to Bournemouth in 2016, BFX has been designed to celebrate and promote the visual effects, computer games and animation industry, inspire the next wave of talent and share the latest knowledge.

The festival programme includes:

Returning this year with an amazing line-up of panel discussions and poster sessions, BFX PRO is a symposium dedicated to those developing the latest innovations in the creative industries.

A unique programme of presentations, workshops, tech demos, public screenings and family events, BFX CORE gives you unprecedented insight behind the screens of the creation of some of your favourite films, television series, commercials, games and software.

Aimed at children aged 5-18 years, BFX Family Weekend offers a range of activities, including screenings, talks and animation workshops, to inspire the next wave of talent.

Get tutored by some of the best creative minds in the industry at the many of the festival’s Workshops. Some are free to all, others included in your Festival tickets, whilst some will need to be purchased as a separate ticketed event.
