We are Boscombe

We Are Boscombe is a movement designed to promote and celebrate everything that makes Boscombe special. Launched in July in collaboration with the Digital Skills Hub and Dorset LEP, this initiative is all about showcasing the town’s vibrant energy, from its quirky independent shops and street art to its breathtaking seafront and community festivals. Through its popular Instagram page (@weareboscombe), the movement highlights local businesses, shares events, and creates buzz about what makes Boscombe a truly great place to live, work, and visit.

With its mix of bohemian charm, diverse cultures, and creative spirit, Boscombe is alive with possibilities. And thanks to initiatives like the Digital Skills Hub and We Are Boscombe, this community is poised to shine brighter than ever—a place where everyone thrives, connects and belongs.

The Digital Skills Hub is an inclusive centre for residents and business owners in the Boscombe-Bournemouth area. It offers a wide-range of FREE events and workshops that cater to a number of needs, from basic computer skills, employment advice and wellbeing, to enhanced digital and business learning. Funded by BCP Council and delivered by Dorset Local Enterprise Partnership, the Hub aims to boost economic growth and prosperity in the area by enabling residents and businesses to be more productive, successful and entrepreneurial.
