STRATEGic ECONOMIC PLAN

In 2014 we launched our Strategic Economic Plan ‘Transforming Dorset’ setting out the key strengths and opportunities within Dorset’s economy and how they would be supported to drive economic growth.

It constituted our bid for investment from the Local Growth Fund (LGF) and is designed to serve as a major component in and point of reference for finalising a growth deal for Dorset.

 

Dorset's Strategic Economic Plan was split into 4 themes:

  • Competitive Dorset
  • Connected Dorset
  • Responsive Dorset
  • Talented Dorset
