Poole’s second harbour crossing, the Twin Sails Bridge, is set to unlock one of the South West’s largest urban regeneration projects.
Poole is home to a very large number of industrial estates including Nuffield Industrial Estate, Mannings Heath, Dawkins Road, Hamworthy, Fleets and Creekmoor offering quality industrial and commercial office space. Industrial Estate sites are in high demand and there are a number of developments currently under construction or recently completed including 24 small business units in Brixey Business Park, part of Mannings Heath, Fancy Road, of which 12 are nearing completion, and 10 units recently completed in Sterte Road, ranging from 99 to 243 square metres.
The central area of Poole is poised for major regeneration that will significantly enhance the area as a retail, leisure and cultural destination as well as meeting the demand for new housing and business workspace. A bold and ambitious regeneration scheme situated on the waterfront in Poole will unfold over the next 10 years. The recent opening of a second harbour crossing will unlock land for new homes, employment opportunities and public open space that together will generate up to £1 billion of investments.
